NDI, it is NewTek's Networked Device Interface for broadcasting video of IP.

With Live Time 1.16, you can now enable NDI (requires In-App Purchase) as long as your Server is on. This will need to be on the same system as your server because of that.
We utilize the standard NDI SDK to create the broadcast output and have tested the feature with various monitoring devices. We do recommend that you DO NOT run your server headless. Please use a Headless display adaptor if you are for performance reasons.
NDI's ports are standard and note defined inside of Live Time. If you are not familiar with NDI, then we suggest you read up on the technology for some critical use case information.
For testing on your internal network, you can use a few software apps. You can also use the apps that come with NDI's developer tools.
Here are a few that we used in testing:
NDI was known to be slightly latent with quality loss in some of our tests. This will all depend on the reliability of your network.
CPU. Live Time will consume a lot more CPU power when NDI is active. If your Mac is not adequate, you will see a warning. A mid-grade 2016+ MacMini should be sufficient.
