Pointing DNS to Live Time

Are you interested in giving someone access to see your clock by going to a specific Fully Qualified Domain Name clock.example.com ? You can do that! Just follow these steps:

1. Determine your public IP or add an additional one and map the ports mentioned here. 

 

2. We can add a domain for  at *.livetimeapp.com as part of our Enterprise license plan (contact us for info). We just need your domain preference and public IP. 

 

3. On your Live Time Server Preferences set the Global Host Name to the FQDN. 

 

4. For some networks that do not support hairpin NAT, you will need to set up an internal DNS with that FQDN and your internal local IP.
